Can't agree more with comments previously made. Marty was a very kind kid, consistently and always with a smile. As adults, our paths never crossed, but I have no doubt he was the same -- you could just tell! Rest well, Marty.
Marty and I met in 9th grade social studies class and become great friends throughout highschool. He was the best friend and I will always cherish the fun times, conversations, and growth we experienced together as friends. He was humble, kind, and loyal. I admired his ability to see the best in people and be able to talk with anyone. Seemed like he drove me everywhere in his vintage orange pickup and the big blue boat of a car. Marty went on to U Of Pitt for a year before deciding he needed more structure and joined the Marines. I wish we would have kept in closer contact later in life. RIP Marty!

So sad to hear this! I knew Marty since grade school at Northway (now a BJ's warehouse).
A good, solid guy!
